INTERNATIONALLY FAMED ARTIST KENNETH HARI VISITS AC ART CENTER

Internationally famed Artist and sculptor Kenneth Hari in the Atlantic City Art Center with Executive Director Kaleem Shabazz as they plan for Mr. Hari's upcoming exhibit in August. The meet the artist reception will be Sunday, August 3rd from 1-3PM at the Center.

This will be Mr. Hari's first public show (Hari's work is in the private chamber of the Pope and in many galleries world wide) in over ten years.


“ART CENTER TO FEATURE WORLD RENOWNED ARTIST”

Internationally acclaimed portrait artist and sculptor Kenneth Hari, will be the featured artist for the month of August at the Atlantic City art Center located on the boardwalk at the Garden Pier.

Hari, a Perth Amboy, New Jersey native has been painting since age 10 and was commissioned to paint a portrait of billiards great Willie Mosconi at age 12. Hari entered college at 14, studied at John Hopkins and at 19 entered Yale University department of Art and Architecture.

Hari's work is found in the Vatican, the Museum of Modern Art in Barcelona Spain, the National Portrait Gallery, London England and many private collections institutions and Universities.

Hari's portraits which command over $50,000 per painting have been of such well known subjects as: Dustin Hoffman (actor), Ravi Shankar (satirist), Henry Mancini (composer), Angela Landsbury (actress), Irving Stone (writer), Norman Rockwell (painter) and actor James Earl Jones. Hari has done almost 100 paintings of literary, business, entertainment and public figures. Kenneth Hari is also famous for his pioneer work in crystal acrylic sculptures.

The artist will meet the public at a reception on Sunday, August 3rd from 1-3PM. Before the public reception Mr. Hari will talk to a select group of local youngsters who are interested in art careers.
