Annual Scholarship Winner Announced by Atlantic City Art Center
The Atlantic City Art Center announces that Regina Roff is the winner of its $1000 Mollie Batzer Scholarship for 2005. The award was presented to Roff at the Annual Senior Awards ceremony at Egg Harbor Township on June 15 by Atlantic City Art Center Board treasurer, Claire B. Kuhar. Roff is a 2005 graduate of Egg Harbor Township High School and will be attending the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, majoring in Illustration. Roff was President of the EHTS National Honor Society, Student Art Director for the EHTS Drama Club and Project Graduation, and received four years of varsity scholar awards. She has studied violin and dance. She is also Atlantic County�s Junior Miss for 2005.
Mollie Batzer was a founding member of the Atlantic City Art Center and an area artist. This scholarship is awarded annually to a qualifying student who is a resident of Atlantic County, has exemplary character, is in good academic standing, and has been accepted at and planning to attend an accredited institution of higher learning.
